I managed to kick my procrastination-block in the butt, and write 4800 words today. Go me. Nothing like an impending deadline to be motivational. Now it just needs an editing pass and a quick synopsis and then off it goes tomorrow evening.

Well done. With a deadline about a week away, I'm so hoping for something like that to happen.

Good Afternoon Kathryn,

Just have a question the book your writing does it happen to be the sequel to "Embracing the Dragon"?
I had no idea that this book was released in April of last year. I emailed you the earlier part of July
and you said that the sequel to "Embracing the Dragon" would be done in October which by the way have
came and gone. So, I've been patiently waiting for this book to be released. I purchased your book from
Torquere Press and I check this website every day to see if a your book have been added to the new release.
Do you plan on writing the sequel? Please respond cause I'm really tired of checking. Also, are there any
other publishers that sale your books outside of Torquere Press? There are only 3 books listed for sale
on this site. Please don't be like some writers that have a really good story but don't finish and leave
their readers without a conclusion or leave it open that would really be a huge disappointment. There are
three very renowned writers A.J.Lewellyn, DJ Manly & Sean Michael these are my all time favorite writers
and I would like to include you among them. So, don't let me down just keep up the good work.

P.S.
I'm not begging I just want to know.

I'm afraid I have to disappoint you here. The impending deadline I referred to in this post was for Torquere's annual charity sip collection. I promise I am working on the sequel to Embracing the Dragon. The last thing I want to do is disappoint loyal readers. I don't have a target date for finishing right now, but I am writing again. Knowing I have people waiting helps keep me motivated when I'm wrestling with my procrastination habit. I'll start posting progress here again so you can have some idea what to expect.

I do have a story in the pipeline, but it may not be what you're looking for. It's in the same world as Embracing the Dragon, but it isn't romance. It's pure fantasy/adventure. It's called "Running from the Storm" and will be part of an anthology edited by Valerie Griswold-Ford called "Spells and Swashbucklers" coming from Dragon Moon Press in print and e-book, probably in May. The release date keeps slipping for a variety of reasons. It's a collection of stories featuring pirates and magic.
