Kitchen!
Merry Christmas everyone.
We spent today packing up the last remnant of our kitchen. The contractor arrives tomorrow to start the remodeling. If all goes according to plan, we should have it back by Birka, complete with new cabinets, new floor, new ceiling, new dishwasher and new sink. And nearly everything else in different places. No more freezing pipes!!
The cabinets are supposed to be delivered tomorrow, so there's lots of sanding and staining in my future. We bought unfinished cabinets, and I've found a great low-odor, non-toxic stain.
Gods willing there won't be any unexpected issues when they get into the plumbing, or the ceiling.
